Egypt is everywhere, its message is direct. With the help of symbolism the old Egyptians tried to express their conceptions of the world, how it came into being, what power keeps the course of life going and what fate expects humans after death. The message of the symbols, which appears enticing and mysterious, inspires our imagination and urges to be decoded by us.

Earth, Wind & Fire are completely influenced by the over 3000-year-old Egyptian culture. You can find those Egyptian symbols on EW&F records. Last not least, my profession has drawn my attention to fantastic Egyptian treasure. It was just a question of time someday to visit the country of the Pharaohs. 

Together with the renowned tour operator OFT TRAVEL from Stuttgart, Germany we have worked out a mystic tour through Egypt, particularly for EW&F fans. 

We will form our own small and unimpaired group. Everyone who has something to do with the organization of this journey will take a lot of trouble for us, whether here in Germany or the ladies and gentlemen in Egypt. But please do not expect miracles, hotels with European standarts, perfect service organization as in Disneyland, which runs like a clockwork. Your tolerance will frequently be asked during the tour. Although Egypt is changing technologically and in civilization the country is strange for the West. 

With our travel registration we offer OFT TRAVEL, in a mannerbinding on us, the conclusion of a travel contract. The registration is to be made to me by phone,
e-mail, fax or letter first. Upon conclusion of the contract, a pre-payment has to be effected of 15% of the total travel price and we will preserve a travel confirmation. The rest of the money  has to be received not later than 2 weeks before we start the tour, and it is certain that the journey is accomplished as it is booked. Then we will receive the complete travel documents. Together we will arrange the best payment means for you upon your registration. All transactions are payable in DEM (German Marks). 

You can cancel the travel contract concluded or your binding registration at any time before the tour starts. In this case you will be required to pay a lump-sum resignation fee including air passage or booking with personal air passage: Until 30 days before departure 10% of the travel price; 29th-22nd day before departure 15% of the travel price; 21st-15th day before start 25% of the travel price; 14th-7th day before start 40% of the travel price; from 6th day before departure 50% of the travel price, from start or if you do not commence that journey 75% of the travel price. 

OFT TRAVEL may cancel the travel contract up to two weeks before departure if the minimum number of 15 participants is not achieved. The amount paid by the traveler is returned immediately. If its evident at an earlier date that the journey is not practicable you will, of course, be informed. If the journey is substantially more difficult, endangered or impaired e.g. by war or natural catastrophes, then both we and OFT TRAVEL may cancel the contract.

At present no inoculations are prescribed. You will be advised by your doctor about inoculation possibilities and your preventire medicines. Within one week we will be in four different hotels. Too much luggage is unfavorable. 1 suitcase and 1 backpack are recommendable. Please note that Germans must have a passport valid for at least six more months. If you enter from another country, please inquire about the respective passport regulations! 

We will receive the visa upon arrival in Cairo. The visa fees amount to about DEM 35.-- per person and will be collected together with the travel price. All amendments to passport, visa and health regulations will be communicated to you in time. Your competent consulate can also inform you. Generally, a travel cancellation insurance is recommended as well as an insurance for costs of the return trip in the event of accident or illness. Please consult to an appropriate insurance company in your country.
